Enjoy a great weekend in Siena by joining the third edition of Wine and Siena 2018 (January 27 and 28).
Wine and Siena 2018 is a unique event designed to promote the excellence of the wine produced in Terre di Siena combined with famous traditional dishes of Tuscan cuisine.
After the great success of the past editions, this time the Wine and Siena Festival will take place in great locations such as:
- the Rocca Salimbeni, the historic headquarters of Monte dei Paschi in piazza Salimbeni
- Palazzo Comunale in the Piazza del Campo
- Hotel Continental, a 5 star hotel just opposite of Piazza Salimbeni.
In Piazza Salimbeni, there will be plenty of food and wine stands.
Wine & Siena is an event that involves the whole city of Siena and its main aim is to promote Sienese, Tuscan and Italian wine companies. Siena itself, it is associated with 5 DOCG Wines: Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti Classico and Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
On Friday, January 26th there will be a SMALL PLATES dinner with local food and wine inside the Headquarter of the University of Siena. Booking is required (price euro 50 p.p.)
Every day during the weekend you can enjoy 3 time showcooking inside the Consorzio Agrario near the Piazza Salimbeni.
On saturday 27th and Sunday 28th the wine tasting area are in Rocca Salimbeni, Hotel Continental and Town Hall in the Campo Square from 11 am till 7.30 pm.
Wine and Siena involves the participation of Gourmet’s International, which has an experience of over 25 years in the organization of gastronomic events including the Merano Wine Festival.

The price is 45,00 Euro for a full day and 30,00 Euro for half a day.
Hotel Borgo Grondaie, just 1.5 km from the historic center of Siena, is the perfect location to join this event, as it offers a parking lot and different types of accommodation (single and double rooms, apartments).
