Siena Ultramarathon 2019
The 5th edition of Siena Ultramarathon will be held in February 2019.
Join the other runners on February 24, 2019 in occasion of the Siena Ultramarathon 2019. This is not just a sport event but it also represents an opportunity to learn more about Terre di Siena. There will be three different competitive paths that wind through a pleasant up and down along the Tuscan hills. The longest route, 50 km, starts from San Gimignano, the intermediate, 32 km, from Colle val d’Elsa, and the shortest, 18 kilometers from Monteriggioni. The finish line for everyone is in Piazza del Campo. On the same day there will be a non-competitive walk through the streets of the old town.
Here the possible paths:
- San Gimignano-Siena (50 km) Price p.p. : 55€ starts at 9am
- Colle Val d’Elsa-Siena (32 km) Price p.p.: 45€ starts at 9.30am
- Monteriggioni-Siena (18 km) Price p.p. : 35€ starts at 10am
- Urban Trekking in Siena (6 km) Price p.p.: 5€ starts at 10am
There will be an early closure when the inscriptions of all the three paths will reach 1800 total athletes. The event will also take place in any weather conditions.

Here the requirements to participate:
- At least 20 years old for the 50 km path
- At least 18 years old for the 32 and 18 km paths
- Uisp card
- Medical certificate
How the Siena Ultramarathon enchances the Organic Local Food of Siena?
In addition to the many initiatives that take place every year at the same time as the race, particular attention is given to the gift received by all athletes: Chianti wine form Farm Oliviera of Castelnuovo Berardenga (Si) and products of local organic farms. One more opportunity to learn about and reward the gastronomic excellences of Siena.
