Borgo Grondaie offers you the possibility to train outdoors and keep fit with professional trainers. Thanks to the partnership with the Fit Fighters Gym in Siena, every afternoon from Monday to Thursday (summer season), we organize fitness courses in the big meadows of our gardens. You can keep fit feeling in touch with nature…in a safely and funny way.
The wide spaces of Borgo Grondaie allow you to keep safe distances and the beauty of nature with its peace and silence will be the perfect setting for your workouts.
You can choose between Pilates and Functional courses.
Pilates is a discipline that improves posture, tones the muscles and, if practiced outdoors, has a relaxing effect on the body and mind. It is recommended for those who suffer from back pain and for those who want to improve balance. For those who practice a sedentary life, it is definitely a good start to tone the body and back.
Functional is a brand new workout that is based on the body’s movements and is therefore practiced in a free body. A complete workout that can also be practiced outdoors with a professional trainer who will follow you step by step. It includes, if done indoor, the use of equipment such as rope, kettlebell, weights, medical balls, etc..
Both sports are recommended to relieve stress, improve mood and regain a psychophysical balance as well as strengthen the immune system.
Price for 1 hour of lessons per person is 10 euros and also includes insurance. Groups are usually small, but if you prefer individual training you only have to ask. The Fit Fighters Siena can organize training sessions with personal trainers on request.
